Our Mission Statement

At Grace House, we focus our efforts on men and women whose lives are in turmoil due to life-controlling problems, such as drug and alcohol abuse, physical and sexual abuse, and anger issues. We live in a world today of overcrowded jails and prisons, gangs ruling our neighborhoods, street violence is a common occurrence, and families are broken apart. Why? Drugs are the leading cause of most crimes. Our mission is to see our streets safe once again, to see families restored, and to give hope to the hopeless. We commit to these individuals by helping them rebuild their lives through discipleship. By instilling moral values in the lives of our spiritual family, and educating them in how to combat the problems and challenges in their lives, we are seeing lives transformed. People bound by crippling and addictive behaviors are free to lead productive lives, taking with them a message of restoration and of hope.

What is Gracehouse?

Grace House includes a men’s and women’s drug and alcohol sober living home, and a men’s transitional home.  It’s located in Sacramento, CA, and is a vital and thriving ministry. Grace House is supported by a Board of Directors. This board of directors is responsible for ensuring that Grace House is compliant with any and all city and state ordinances, as well as creating a safe place for its residents to flourish. The four pillars of recovery

Forgive Yourself

Forgive yourself for all the pain and misery you caused while you were in your addictions.

Becoming a Giver, Not a taker

When we are in our addictions we steal more than things, we steal love, joy, affection, peace, and harmony. When we make the turn we become a giver, giving self, encouragement, and all good things.[/creatink_icon_and_text_block]

God’s Timing

God’s timing is perfect and works to perfection every time. Let your recovery happen in His time, not yours.[/creatink_icon_and_text_block]

Restoration

Restoration happens when we get through the first three pillars. Families and friends are restored, husbands and wives, children and parents, brothers and sisters.[/creatink_icon_and_text_block]
