The word with Rhonda Sandoval
spiritual foundations being built.
lives being transformed.
families being restored.
Grace House Nor Cal is a faith-based recovery program in Carmichael, California. We have been established in our community for multiple years and are a go-to recovery resource for various agencies throughout the greater Sacramento area. Our program currently consists of a men’s house, a woman’s house, and a men’s transitional home. We are a private pay program meaning we do not accept Medi-Cal or insurance. We work with partner agencies for resident placement and have a well-established relationship with the court system for multiple counties throughout the state.
At Grace House, we focus our efforts on men and women whose lives are in turmoil due to life-controlling problems, such as drug and alcohol abuse, physical and sexual abuse, and anger issues. We live in a world today of overcrowded jails and prisons, gangs ruling our neighborhoods, street violence is a common occurrence, and families are broken apart. Why? Drugs are the leading cause of most crimes. Our mission is to see our streets safe once again, to see families restored, and to give hope to the hopeless. We commit to these individuals by helping them rebuild their lives through discipleship. By instilling moral values in the lives of our spiritual family, and educating them in how to combat the problems and challenges in their lives, we are seeing lives transformed. People bound by crippling and addictive behaviors are free to lead productive lives, taking with them a message of restoration and of hope.
Forgive yourself for all the pain and misery you caused while you were in your addictions.
God’s timing is perfect and works to perfection every time. Let your recovery happen in His time, not yours.
When we are in our addictions we steal more than things, we steal love, joy, affection, peace, and harmony. When we make the turn we become a giver, giving self, encouragement, and all good things.
Restoration happens when we get through the first three pillars. Families and friends are restored, husbands and wives, children and parents, brothers and sisters.
